I have it for about 6 years. It won't turn on, screen stays black and it beeps 3 times. Yesterday the screen went grey with a warning box :(

I dropped it at the airport about a month ago, second time it got hurt in its lifetime.

Is this a major problem? Or normal for this old machine...I need my work on there:(

Your memory modules have probably unseated themselves from the impact as Bwana said, You might have to open the back panel and re-seat the RAM units.

Hopefully not a major problem, and should be an easy enough fix. :)

I opened it up, everything looked perfectly in place, was dusty so I cleaned it and it powered up but then after 20 mins went back to the grey screen and beeping.:(

Remove the RAM and then put it back. Don't just blow off the dust.

That sounds bad, then. Your best bet would then be to take it in to a reputable Apple repair center and request a quote. Hopefully it's something small and not too expensive. If it's really expensive to repair, then you will have to decide what will suit you best financially.

Almost forgot: go to ifixit.com and check if you can find any info about your problem and what they recommend to fix it.

if you can get it up and running again check the tempreture it is running at.
