Macgyver Is Back

Saw the first episode, and all I can say is That is all I am going to watch from this show.

It is really bad the actor is horrific and think he is the man and he fails in being the man.
I will be giving this a skip completely, I have the original and must say it is still better than this cr@p
 
I watch it for the cleavage... :o

the shows where maybe not that good at that time, little budget and little acting, it was part of our childhood, next you would say Back To The Future is bad..now trying a reboot of those beloved shows just seems wrong with such cheesy acting and scripts

They where good for their time, television viewers in those days where a lot less sophisticated and there was nothing wrong with those shows. I specifically quoted those 4 as they where shows I watched religiously in my youth... The thing to realise is that you cannot go back, watching them as an adult in the light of modern TV is to realise just how young the art of TV was in that era.

Same! I think they were brilliant to get Shane Black to write the pilot, it ensured the series got off to a great start. He is one of my favourite Hollywood writers
