The iPod wasn't a major technological innovation... It was just a marketing coup.

In any case, it's good news for all of us if the Mac is doing well. Windows would never change if it weren't for some competition from the fringe.

If apple would change MacOS to be an alternative to run on your standard PC then they would be competition.

I should get one actually, I tried to make a projection to work out when it will over take Windows but the software gave an error because it could not calculate the date "infinity"...

infinity aka windows time counting.....

if u had done the projection on a mac, u could have a graph output with a reliable time estimate

Yeah, you guys are right, I should have done it on a mac. But I'll first need to get one of those cinema displays cause I think it is gonna be one freakin' long projection

Well it wont take over any time soon. But it certainly will begin to become a household name. Just as Windows 7 is coming, so is Snow Leopard. Must admit, 7 looks decent. But won't put it past Apple to create something great.
