Apple sometimes.
macOS Sequoia & macOS 26: Even though you have an ultra wide monitor, splitting windows in 2 is sufficient.

iPadOS 26: You have an 11 inch iPad Pro, you definitely need to be able split your windows in 3.

Magnet is still your best friend.
I’ve actually not enjoyed the iPadOS Window management experience at all…seems very manual now compared to before.
Also hate losing slide over. Don’t understand why they couldn’t leave the normal system as is and just add the new one optionally because the features don’t overlap at all.
I purchased Magnet back in 2021 and as soon as Apple brought their window tiling feature Iin Sequoia decided to uninstall it. Looks like I'll need to download and install. Such a drag.
Never used magnet. My favorite is still the way Windows Powertoys Fancyzones did it where you sliced up each screen into your desired layout of zones and then if you held down shift while dragging/moving a window over any zone it would snap and fit to the zone if you released the mouse button. A whole bunch of other functionality but it's still the best implementation I've used to date.Magnet is still your best friend.

Edit:
Found this but haven't tried it yet - https://bentoboxapp.com/
I just installed Bentobox - works almost indentically as the Powertoys implementation but a few less features. The keyboard shortcuts aren't nearly as intuitive for me as simply dragging a window while holding shift and release it to autofill the zone.I mean Magnet does similar I believe, but for me it’s all keyboard shortcuts as I like to work in 1/3rds.
