macOS update 15.5.6 crashed all non MAC apps

Howdy

Just updated the latest update and all my non standard apps are crashing (MS Office, Deezer, etc). I also noticed that my bootcamp partition is no longer an option at startup.

Anyone else have these issues?

Assuming 10.15.6 No, haven't had the problem. Had a similar problem a couple of years ago and it was to do with permissions. Otherwise, download the 10.15.6 combo update and rerun the update.

After some more googling I came across a post on reddit and downloaded a patch which solved the problem.
Ran this command at Terminal.

sudo nvram boot-args=amfi_get_out_of_my_way=0x1

Yes, it is, the setting is for entitlements (had to google it). Maybe I should have more coffee before replying. Still an interesting issue which perhaps could've been sorted out with NVRAM reset.

Also, seems like the latest update removes BOOTCAMP.....
