Macworld

It fits in with the strategy... one-stop shop at the apple store. Jobs wants you to give him the money for your time machine drive, not lacie or iomega or owc. You get to pay the apple tax, but you'll be up and runny within a couple of minutes of unboxing.

I've AAPL wasn't already close to $200 a share I'd buy a crap load more.

Office 2008 ready to ship.
Hope it's decent...
I'd completely forgotten about Office. iWork has been gtd so unless there is a really good family pack pricing plan then I probably wont bother just yet.
Its pitched between the macbook and the MBP... thinner than the thinnest part of the Sony TZ, but 13.3" screen, same as the macbook, but with LED screen backlight and illuminated keys same as the MBP... sounds like a machine Bwana will never buy...
I'd probably end up snapping that puppy in half in a week. :o

Now, now, you have your photography to finance as well ;)

EDIT: OK, I read your post wrong :o.... Seems as if you won't get it then..

I was pretty underwelmed by the announcements that came out. The best thing for me is the new Airports, and that is not really anything special or hard for them to make.

The Macbook Air I think is going to be a flop in a way. Too high priced and little benefit over the Macbooks other than lighter and thinner. I would have liked to have seen a 10" screen and a little thicker on the base. I was really hoping for that docking station, but maybe next year...

I think I will have to go for an iMac in a month or two as MacWorld really didn't give me what I had hoped. Oh, and I'll be getting an iPhone as soon as 16gigs comes out (where was that announcement?) with the new apps coming from the SDK!
