Madonsela under attack in Parliament

Trouble arises when she expects the members of her department to work too. They didn't go through all that hassle of vying for cadre deployment and having to work for the money on top of it.

They have a much bigger budget but comparitively speaking (for their size) I don't believe they handle the same work load that she does (for the size of her department).

No matter how you try to justify their attack on the Madonsela, some of us do not drink the koolaid. This Chapter 9 institution is the only one that has stick it to the ruling party. No fear, No favour...-instead of addressing the central issue of this Number One using public funds to upgrade his homestead...they attack the institution for not backing the party line...trying to change the narrative of the debate, ag pls...no one is falling for that one.... I do not hate, and it takes a whole lot to piss me off, and this ruling party has me pissed off...all the general hate the ANC is encountering, is of their own making....they ****ing up this country's future...Where is the tenet of fidelity to democracy, not to party...happens when you do not have patriots, but career politicians...
 
Are public donations to chapter 9 institutions permitted? Tax deductible?
 
Honesty and integrity mean s hit to the ANC! It's an organization completely rotten and corrupted to its very core!! Sad state of affairs!!

What I would love to see is tax paying citizens, en masse, refusing to pay their taxes until the ANC tidies up its act!

They don't. The audit firms provide the work force.

And it's hardly difficult work. The government is so bad that you take last year's report and change the date.

Funny how you can lay out the structural problems in the PP's office in such detail yet say nothing about the ANC's glaring betrayal of the voting public.

If more people in government had her attitude this country would be in a better place, she knows she is overworked but continues to offer assistance where she can. That is the very definition of a good public servant, how many slacker MP's in government can claim to be true servants of the public rather than themselves?

Perhaps the PP is overworked because the public require a lot of protection from a corrupt government.

Not sure that the Auditor General has a CEO. It has the Auditor General. And the IEC, the SAHRC, the CGE, etc have a commissioner, not a CEO.

What part of the PFMA is she breaching?

If a complaint of maladministration comes in she cannot refuse it or ignore it and cite a lack of budget. If the ANC wasn't so effing corrupt and incompetent, she wouldn't be getting so many complaints to begin with.

Would you like it if you reported a crime to the cops and they said, "sorry we don't have the budget to investigate your complaint"?

We musn't let our love for BS blind us to reality rza....

Its been decades if the ANC did even a half decent job we would have had a country to be proud of but they just steal and brake down.
