Does anyone know how I can receive free tv channels with this smart tv box which is designed for internet tv?

I do not believe you will get any help really on this subject as it involves non legal methods.

I will keep searching the web, as there are free channels available. DSTV don't control online viewing. These channels are legal or you would not be able to view them online in SA. I should have stated the tv box which are legal for internet tv.

Just get a Raspberry Pi and install Librelec (lightweight OS with Kodi as the user interface). Much more flexible..

It appears that you can load standard m3u, m3u8 playlists (similar to VLC or Kodi Live IPTV playlists) from a USB drive - you should be able to find thousands of them using Google. Let us know how well this box performs as it looks quite interesting. Where did you get it from and how much did it cost?

Purchased from Amazon UK for 63 pounds . Works well if you have a DL speed of between 5 - 10 mpbs. Would rather have an android tv box though. With this one you can't DL apps.
