Recently we found out that libs is starting to get high blood pressure (from the bloodbank).
So I thought I would first like to try out alternatives to lower his BP naturally rather than go straight for prescription medicines. I googled, but only came across sites that tells you what kind of foods to avoid, like salt and caffeine.
any other sites that have got any info on natural products you can use, you have to pay. We don't have a cc (and not interested in getting one), so that is not an option.
So I started talking to lots of people trying to gain some info.
I found out swallowing a whole clove of garlic works, also eating one tablespoon of honey per day. And also taking magnesium supplements.
But the supplements had 3 added bonusses:
1. It stopped lib's snoring;
2. He didn't stop breathing during sleeping (like he did before. In afr it is called slaap apnee, don't know what it is called in english); and
3. He slept a lot better.
So I decided to try it too. It does help relieve insomnia.
I wanted to share this, because maybe someone else can gain from this knowledge.
