Magneto Lithium LED Lantern - anyone here has one?

I need to replace the 6v battery on my Magneto lantern and I see they now have a model with Lithium battery:

If someone here has one of the new Lithium ones please help me with the following:

Are the batteries replaceable and what kind of batteries do they use?

Are these as bright as the original Magneto LED Lanterns? 1000 vs 850 lumens does it make a noticeable difference?

I keep mine plugged in 24x7, does these also go into the brightest mode when the power does off while its on the automatic setting?

Anything else that is better or worse on these vs the older model?

Yeah that does not make sense. Lithium should give more hours not less especially since it is 850 lumens vs 1000 (more light = more power).

And a 6v 4ah battery has 24Wh of power (old model).
a 10000Mah battery typically has 36-37Wh of power (new model). Assuming the cells are 3.6v-3.7v and also Lithium batteries can be discharged deeper than lead acid.

What I like about the new model is that it can be charge via USB. I am now just wondering how long it would take to recharge.

Nah that is probably just a 3rd party seller that sold the wrong item.

They slightly less brighter than the lead acid ones but marginally. Have not tested the total hours but it did last overnight. Takes slightly longer to charge than the lead acids.

They dont come with a plug, but a USB cable for charging and can also charge devices

The Li-Ion onces are much lighter. Tevo had the Li-Ion on sale for the last few weeks around R220 each, but seems currently out of stock and reverted back to normal pricing. Someone purchased the li-ion ones from a third party seller on Takealot but got delivered the lead acid version.

Does it have a old USB out port as well as the Type-C port? Or does it use the same port to charge / charge other devices? I'm wondering if it can power other devices while being charged.

It has a USB C input to charge the unit (cable included in USB c to USB a) and then it has a second USB A port to charge devices, which can power other devices while being charged.

measure the battery it will give you the size ie 18650 is 18mm dia .65mm long the 0 is just because .they look like 26 65 0 @ 4800 mah been running a magneto of 2 of them for years with a dedicated 9v charger .lasts around 4 hours but charges up over around 4 to 5 hours

If so then it's probably also 3.7v x 10a = 37Wh. Still can't figure out why these can't outlast a 24Wh lead acid battery.

Probably low grade cells that aren't close to the 5000mah that they claim it to be.

checkers sells a similar one and Builders now has a china hanging lantern for around R200 in grey and boxed ,they work very well , builders also has a new range of magneto look alike lamps , hopefully of a better quality .

Yeah I already have one those with a mini ups for my beside table (bought both recently at bargain prices from takealot). It is not bright enough for my kitchen and its not as bright as the Magneto.

Yeah, they are not probably bright enough for a big kitchen. But I like the fact that you can just leave them plugged in and forget about them.

Have you tried the yeelight app or are you using xiaomi home? I think the yeelight app may have some extra functionality but I am yet to try it myself.
