Mail settings

can anyone enlighten me with the mail settings, i have the pop and smtp servers right but i cannot figure out what my username is supposed to be.

well, its your username that you logged on to mywireless with when you first installed your software, and the email/username you chose on your application..

oh and can anyone tell me how to check mail from internet? think its in the help guide, but im not home with mywireless, cant check

My mail account is also still not working. I emailed support by sentech kollietjie co kolletjie za. That mail came back with all kinds of errors, but they did call me. They haven't done anything yet...

I have had no problem with mine.
Set it up as follows:
Incoming "pop.sentechsa.com"
Outgoing "smtp.sentechsa.com"
Account name "......." as you account name filled in in the application form
Password "...." as password filled in in application form

I had to call them and ask them to "activate" my email account, got a call a few hours later to say it was done.

You can access your mail via web interface at http://mail.sentechsa.com ... If you can log in here succesfully use the same details for pop. If you can't log in here either you have the incorrect details or there is a problem with you account.

I found the problem : Their server doesn't like it if cygwin fetchmail wants to talk kerberos, so I just put a 'proto POP3 auth password' in my rc file.

And their smtp server is also a piece of junk : It doesn't want to talk to pine.
