Major money problems at Denel

A friend of mine working for DENEL bee-lined it to UAE couple of years back to develop systems for them. He saw it coming even back then. Locally he was part of team that developed a system that turned "dumb" iron bombs into guided bombs. He's happy last I heard.

You paid huge kickbacks to Duduzane Zuma. Let alone the VR Laser Guptas. Then you all got huge kickbacks from them.

I dont know about you, but in North Korea we call it treason, and you will effectively be told to stand on a circle, while Mortars are fired at you (no lies here).

So thanks Denel for handing out state secrets, paying corrupt people big kickbacks to line your own pockets too.

As the government DENEL should be shut down. It's best to sell it to a private group, that could actually make it a success. Probably some guys driving white hilux bakkies thats got nothing better to do than build stuff to blow up. Heck we can turn it into a TV show.

I can understand why UAE as well thats where all the ex SA rekkies ended up in. Nice security contracts.

Option 1 - put people in charge who know what they are doing.
- can't do that because govt doesn't have people who know what they are doing.

Option 2 - shut the damn thing down.
- can't do that because we have a turnaround plan. It won't work of course, but we'll keep spending more than we're making until it does.
