Major policy shift for telecoms expected

The closest thing I have seen to our telecoms state of affairs elsewhere are the roads further north in Africa... Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya... riddled with potholes in major cities. A week or two before elections, the roadworks guys show up to sort out some of it before the rallies begin... a farce - don't believe it before you see it.

No matter what the Government says, no matter how many businesses and individuals complain, no matter how expensive and insane telecoms costs in SA are... as long as Poison Ivy is in charge, the future of SA's telecoms looks bleak.
