3D Motion controller to work with Playstation Eye (Eyetoy) and two mic shaped like motion controllers. Very accurate indeed. Camera tracks you and the motion controllers in 3D mode. Seems NATAL found competition by the pro's. No AI yet tho. Due next year.

The controllers are so accurate, the demoer can actually write his name on a virtual pad

MAG looks very impressive, as does Uncharted 2.

Nintendo's conference was pretty horrid, though. Aside from Golden Sun DS and new Metroid Prime, it was all totally bland. Talk about a presentation with all the personality of a boiled potato.

GT5 Sports World Rally Championship and NASCAR races, the level of detail is staggering zooming into insane level of detail.

GOW III final part trailer "God of War trilogy," showing Kratos' final revenge on Zeus and the rest of the gods. March 2010. Not a PS# exclusive but only possible on PS3

The show was good but pretty lacking. Why run a massive demo of multiplat games?? I'm not saying the PS3 games shown were bad but they where old news. The show also focused heavy on the PSP even though the news were pretty much nothing new.

The only really standout game was Rockstar's Reach although nothing was shown except the title. Final Fantasy 14 almost had me until the announcement that it's the (already leaked) online one :(
 
Well if you consider the Sony 3D motion cotroller to counter NATAL then the only thing M$ have is the AI Milo "dream" as portrayed by Spielberg, the film creator, and He can make anything look realistic. In games M$ is lacking. So all in all its all about a bluff and Milo dreams.

I'm sorry but I fully disagree. The Sony show was not that impressive (and this comes from Sony fans on the live blogs). Almost ALL of the games are 2010 which is the most disappointing factor. Xbox gamers got confirmation for Left 4 Dead 2, Crackdown 2, Halo ODST, Forza 3, etc. all slated for 2009 nevermind the fact of MGS (yes I know it's multi) but keep in mind that a.) It's coming to both MS platforms and b.) he stated that the franchise will now also appear on 360 meaning that future MGS titles will also show face. The problem with the Sony show was that everything was already basically known and no surprises came out.

GOW3 looks great but the game has been in development for long and still only slated once again for 2010. 2010 may be the year for PS3 but surely not 2009 as they keep stating.
 
Most of the things Sony showed were things we already knew about (Trico, Go etc.). Although this isnt a bad thing as Sony now have a mind blowing line up which blows away everything else. Very interested in Agent. All in all its a great time to be a gamer :)

2008 WAS A BUMPER YEAR FOR SONY, 2009 WILL BE even better. The only factor different in the M$ show was the Spielberg factor. He charmed everyone to believe the Milo show. The motion controlls was not as accurate as the SONY/WII systems. Thats fact. M$ used Spielberg to give it the charm and mystic they required. Thats all. Anyone believing that Milo staged show must be real Startrek fanatics.

No the factor was Forza 3, Crackdown 2, Halo, LFD2, SCC all for this year plus shadowrun, Halo Reach, etc for 2010 plus MGS announcement.

Developed by the team who created the EyeToy camera several years ago, the system combines and motion detection to pull players inside games and track their actions with "sub-millimeter accuracy".

Feel like Sony is the repetive greetings king, HalloHallo?
Then if you look at the PSP additions then C'mon.
What has M$ offered except a few games and a "DREAM". Where is the dates of the NATAL project release. All they have done is stirred up the anti. Wii and Sony will now compete towards the AI development but both the WII and Sony developments in motion control beats shiite out of the NATAL project re accuracy.

I say again. Why did M$ use Spielberg and not a electronics design expert to stage the show? Hmmm. They bluffed you all.
 
Microsoft blew Sony out of the water hands down! finished and klaar!

The only thing Microsoft could have done to worsen the blow on Sony, was to release a portable console!! and then again the PSP Go looks like an epic fail to me! however i might be proved wrong when its released, only time will tell.

But for now, bottom line is that Microsoft has absolutely dominated Sony at E3!

Why will the PSP go fail? It will be sold in parralel to the PSP3000, like a games console ala memory stick version.
You failed to qualify your statement. WHY! So it seems Spielbergs staged show also brainwashed you. Must say it seems M$ did steal the show with their staged AI Milo show. Seems they conned everyone, so it was justified using Spielberg to stage the show. I will wait to see a confirmed release date.

That would then be a supercharged notebook. They cannot even produce that. They will have to wait to buy out a company that can produce portable gaming consoles. How many are there? Maybe they can use the Iphone.
 
I never said it WILL fail!! i sad it LOOKS (looks being the operative word) like it will fail, basically because it looks ugly and uncomfortable to use:(

As for spielberg... if you could get him to do the presentation for you, you would take the opportunity in the blink of an eye!! Its not a con, its simply clever marketing which is something Sony should have tried!

So you agree it was more a marketing ploy that factual design information , therefore no release date. A "dream" as M$ said.
