Explain to me how would they pull a trigger or like the wii/sony write a name on a virtual pad. So where is the factual part of the design when they showed you can kick/block a ball and jump but did not show sub mm accuracy like Sony did. They showed no fine control. BTW above was already available on the Eyetoy 2D camera on PS2 a few years back.
 
who the hell cares who showed it off? I dont, the point is it worked and it is what they will offer in the future, no need to get all angry cause sony couldnt get anyone famous themselves

The true facts. 5 years in developmet and still early in development, its all but just a "dream" for now as M$ stated themselves, they had nothing else concrete to offer.

On the other hand Sony will release their motion control camera system in 2010. We will see when M$ wakes up.
 
So what was this huge secret announcement Sony was gonna make? They were going on about how Sony never manages to keep a secret...and they did with this, and it will be big blah blah blah. Is this announcement still coming or have I missed something?
 
I was hoping for a major firmware release, but maybe it will be released shortly.

Sony doesn't need someone famous to do their bidding, the PS3 is already famous. :)
 
Looks like I can wait another year to get a ps3 before anything good comes out...

Sony seem very solid, but dissapointed that
Gt5 will only be 2010.
as well as GOW iii 2010.

Uncharted looked nice as well as GOW iii but that is about it ? where is all the in game demos, not just trailers etc.
 
Wow, M$ had a pretty cool conference, even though the "surprizes" were really games everyone knew was coming, ie Forza 3, Crackdown 2.
And then Sony came and blew them out of the water. :D
I'm not even gonna touch on the Natal and Wand stuff, for both of those i'll wait till some actual release software before judging, though both have potential, but face the same problem of now getting current and new owners to buy into it.

Wrt Sony's conference, Sony had every angle covered. Interactive functionality, PSP Go, Home, Uncharted 2, GT5, Final Fantasy XIV, Last Guardian, The Agent,etc not to mention how Kojima almost seemed to try and distance himself from MGS: Rising, as if Konami made him do it, and making sure to state that the MGS4 team is the one working on "the true MGS sequel," which is the new MGS PSP title. Sure, most of these titles were already known, but even so, their line-up still beats the crap out of the 360's line-up. After all, who wants to play Forza 3 if you can play GT5? Or Crackdown 2 if you can play InFAMOUS? ;)
As for Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake, i'll catch their inevitably superior versions on PC ;)

E3 confirmed it for me. I WOULD NOT GET AN XBOX 360 ANYTIME SOON!

Rather want another extra PS3 (or two) to make online gaming a LIVE family affair.
 
Square Enix has officially announced their PS3 exclusive Final Fantasy 14. The game will have online play and new modes not seen before in a Final Fantasy title. How much of a MMO it'll be isn't known, but it was once known as Rapture.

It'll release in 2010. It has now been revealed that the game will also see release on the PC. Square Enix released the official wesbite for it and it lists it as PC as well. However, it'll remain console exclusive to the PS3
