Im terribly happy So much better than the last elections and theyre ganna lose a municipality in the EC.... and Jozi looks like the DA will get it. So orsm!

Soweto hasn't been counted yet, and unfortunally they like to remain in **** and vote ANC instead of DA or VF+ .

The ANC are getting better at improvising results The biggest problem for our democracy now is to teach people that it is better to vote for another party that can make a difference as oppose to abstaining. Voter turnout in Pretoria in 2006 was 41%, which means that for every 2 voters, 3 people didn't bother!

ANC - 64.8 -> 63.36 - Down by 1%
DA - 16% -> 22.67% - Up by 6.6%

When you say afrikaans vote, do you mean afrikaner or afrikaans as a whole? Because I am pretty sure they do a lot for afrikaans as a whole as the majority of the western cape is afrikaans.
