True. If COPE did not have a leadership problem they would have won over many more voters who had previously voted for the ANC. That would have pushed the ANC under the 50% level and a DA/COPE coalition could have taken over the metro.

Maybe, yes. On the other hand the DA doubled it's support to 40%, so is it possible that most of the COPE voters moved over to the DA?

Anyway if things go as they have during this election, then there is hope and things may not be so bad after all.

I wouldn't know. I'm a 'soutpiel' according to Mickey :D I just remember waar of onwaar questions from my Afrikaans school tests :D
