The poor were also affected by e-tolls in their everyday life, because e-tolls had pushed up food prices as businesses passed on the costs to consumers.
And businesses won't pass on the proposed fuel levy?

They would but the impact is lesser due to a larger distribution circle.

But here is the fact of life in SA.. Like with every increase supply chains are impacted on, don't expect prices to revert back to pre-eToll levels. They will claim all sorts of reasons why this won't happen.. But the fuel levy will be added haha
