I'm just wondering whether is it just MTN or my phone (Nexus 5X) whereby I am unbale to Surf the net and Make/Take a Call simultaniusly cause . This is not an issue on Vodacom using an iPhone 6.

Is this a settings issue or MTN issue? I have not swapped the Sim cards to test MTN on the iPhone.

Thanks

On 3G and above you can do this, im guessing the phone is on 2G (edge) when a call takes place then it cant browse the web.

Not true. You can do it on 2G and 3G, but not on LTE. The phone will have to switch to 2G/3G on the time of making the call. Optional VoLTE allows to stay on LTE during making/receiving calls, but it requires both network and handset support.

There are some questions regarding Nexus 5 supporting VoLT. I didn't follow, there is some option or more for reading: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/nexus/Knwj4u8Meng

Well 2G never worked for me but if it is on 3G I put the phone on speak and access the web without a issue....
