Making a call from the FNB App

Hi all,

Has anyone managed to make a call using the FNB App? I've created an ewallet that I've loaded with R20 that it'll deduct from. Whenever I try to make a call, it sounds like a phone is ringing on my end but the recipient's phone isn't actually ringing. Anyone know how to use it properly? Tried jt with 3G on Telkom Mobile and 2Mbps adsl via wifi.

Oh man I've given up on trying to use that FNB phone bonus I'm meant to be getting. The most counterunintuitively designed application I've seen in quite a while.

apparently theres a seperate FNB dialer app that works, never tried it though,

skype much easier and free to other skype users,

yes I have phoned from the app , but only fnb numbers because that is free

It worked like a charm for me 3 years ago when I visited the USA. Talked for a long time with my wife using the R10 that was loaded and a fast wifi connection (Wifi rocks all over the States.)

Havent used it since, but I believe all your calls to FNB via that app will be free.

Yup calls to FNB are free. A colleague says he calls his family overseas via 6Meg ADSL wifi and it worked well.
