One man made millions on Takealot

Several Takealot sellers have made millions on the platform by buying inexpensive stock from Chinatown Malls and selling it at a decent profit on the marketplace.

One such seller who talks about his experiences on YouTube is Mikal Subramoney, who said he made R100,000 through Takealot sales in his first few months selling on the platform.

Look - great for this guy. But sorry, trawling through page and page of crap on takealot is getting old.

The takealot marketplace business model does mean you have to sell items at high margins which means you have to sell items that can be marked up by a lot. So you either have to get very cheap items that you can mark up - usually no-name crap. Or the prices for known brand items for the consumer are just bonkers and the product won't sell.

@surface look here SubraMONEY, stop selling us your fake crap. Not everything is about money
 
Looking at a few other vids,
Its not just easy money,
Lots of "hidden" fee's, things that you need to take into account,
also your time, its def not passive income as big chunk suggests
