Hi,

What is the proper way of preparing tea?

How come so many people like tea?

How many cups or mugs of tea do you have everyday?

So far, I go with ekske1.
It's a bit of a peasant method but it works if you pin the tea bag down before you pour the water.
I would slosh the bag around a bit in the cup before taking it out, though.

The real way to make tea is in a china pot with tea leaves, however. Whole other story.

Edit: bwana mentioned the pot as I was posting.
Pot should be warmed before adding water, however.

My preferred method.

wrong.

1. Insert teabag into cup
2. Insert spoon, spoon should pin the teabag
3. Add boiling water
4. Wait
5. Take teabag out and stir
6. (optional, kak teas) add milk, sugar and stir
Put the water in first, drop the teabag in, no airbubbles in the teabag (it sinks of it's own accord) ;)

Had Tata Tea as a client many moons ago. According to the good folk there...

Teabag in cup
Add boiling water and draw for a minute or two
Squeeze teabag
Add milk and sugar if you're so inclined

or

Tea leaves in the pot, one spoon per cup as a basic rule
Add boiling water and draw for four to five minutes
Pour through strainer
Add milk and sugar if you're so inclined

or

Drink Coffee like regular folk damnit!

Going to be rejected if it is not freshly ground from decent beans. *erm*

More points if you roast them yourself.

If you're so inclined to have a drop of milk you add the tea to it, not the other way around.

What is the proper way of preparing tea?

How come so many people like tea?

How many cups or mugs of tea do you have everyday?

Open the nespresso capsule holder, pop in a Darkan capsule. Close holder. Press the "espresso" button.
Enjoy a PROPER drink. ;)

So when we guys go out fishing we take the gas stove

Pot on stove till it boils

add few tea bags

Wait till that boils

add milk

Let that heat up

Pour and drink

Sugar > Teabag > Boiled Water > leave for 5 minutes > add milk ( if you want to) > stir > then squeeze teabag with fingers before discarding
