Making the right Linux choice

OpenSolaris is also starting to look like a good alternative to Windows. It's the open source version of Sun's Solaris. It's not a Linux distribution, but it is a UNIX based OS.

Expect to start seeing a lot more of it in the future.

Hmmm I should go and fetch my disc at the postoffice. Got a small paper in my Gate this morning. I have to say i agree with you. It looks good. But I will see when I get it. Can't wait actually

As for Linux go for Ultimate Edition 1.8 -Based on ubuntu 8.04 its a winner for newbies. Really it is. It has wine already installed. It has everything already installed then envey on click and your grapics drivers are installed. it has sooo much stuff on that anyone would find very very including the new people trying out linux for the first time very useful! www.ultimateedition.info Enjoy. That distro really rocks. I have it as my primary OS at the moment actually!
