Thread carefully when ordering from Makro online from 3rd party sellers.

Ordered an item, arrived and it didn't match the advert. Logged a return with pictures and set the collection date. No one came on that day. Emailed them to find out that they can take up to 14 working days to collect. It has been over that and no communication or anything. I went to the store and they cannot assist with online orders.

This really shows how bad Makro is on their online platform. When you get what you ordered, it is okay. But when things go wrong, it is a very broken system.
 
Yeah makro should be very low down on anyone's list when ordering online. Somewhere just below flying to China to buy the product yourself and just above selling tour soul.

they are beyond useless.

they should be in the heirachy of recommended online shoping they that pathetic
 
Been a few times I've seen something at a really good price on Makro online but have been too weary of their ability to function online & manage deliveries etc.

It’s hit and miss with the online store, sometime they are great and other times crazy incompetent.

I only use the online store because their instore forklift drivers scare me.
I had many near misses.
 
I can confirm their online site purchase is terrible, waited three months for delivery as it was in "limbo" and through many online chat assistance, and customer care calls.. no success! Had eventually drive to Makro Montague gardens and battle with a manager who eventually investigated the issue and gave me refund. Will buy in store but never again from the online. I'd avoid if at all possible..
