Dont laugh, I know that atleast 50% of the people on this forum has the problem or thinks about it (Can we get a poll ;) ) Anyways I was wondering, has anyone found anything that works for this? Or slows it down? I still have a lot of hair but seeing as my Mothers dad was bald, I will most probably become bald aswell one day...

Discuss :p

(I thought this would be fine, seeing as it isnt AS weird as telling the whole world you had sex with a prostitute  )

IF I ever show signs of going down that path, I'll just shave it all off ...... there is nothing worse than 'The Monk Look' or 'The Comb-over Look' ....... ridiculous :D

The best bet is a dietary approach imo. Unless one wants to take a chance with those magic hair products that get advertised on TV.

Exactly. The three-hairs-strategically-combed look just doesn't cut it.

Haha... What about a wig?

But seriously been reading a bit on the net:
Propecia
Procerin

Apparently those work? But the one is so potent that pregnant women shouldnt EVEN TOUCH IT :D Scary...

Use this http://www.salonweb.com/minoxidil/kirkland5.htm
and go buy yourself a bottle of L-Lysine 1000mg from your nearest health shop. Only buy the Solgar brand. This should keep you from losing your hair completely. Use the minoxidil in the morning and in the evening and drink the lysine one time a day.

Diet has nothing to do with going bald i think, its like cancer, if its in your family there is a good chance you will go bald, its in your genes and i highly doubt dieting will stop it.

I'm 26 still go plenty hair and receding hairline, my grandpa was bald on my dad's side but on my mom's side my grandpa had lots of hair before he died at 55.

Don't think its in my genes to go bald but my kids may get the gene from my mom's side :)

I just noticed a slight receding after my haircut

I have a receding hairline.
Sowhat.

Screw it. If I go bald I'll cut it off...

No worries.

Heck, some cultures view it as a sign of verility... ( :D )

:D

Dont think I will go bald.

But if I do then I will just shave it off :)

I believe I am going to be grey at 30 though, Go the salt and pepper look !

On that page it says:
"Not intended for use on frontal baldness or receeding hairline."

Isnt that the place MPD mostly start ;)

Then the first results on L-Lysine from google reads:
"L-lysine can be used to treat mouth and genital lesions caused by herpes"

And you say these 2 work for MPB ???
Also in the olden days loosing your hair ment that you are sexually maturing... So obviously Brad Pitt and George Clooney are still kids :D

Men are cute. In a twisted sort of way.

When things like e.g. going grey happens, you guys just take it in your stride.

Yeah definitely working. You can check various forums on those two products. Unfortunately there is nothing that works for frontal baldness 100% but many people recommend just using minoxidol for frontal but putting on extra. L-Lysine is a supplement missing from food which is important for the hair follicle. Go read up on hairloss forums and not on general health sites. People recommend these two products or Propecia.

Yea but propecia seems to have a crap load of side-effects... You maybe have a link on the other two? It does seem tho if Propecia works beter for MPB?

Anyways, thanks for some feedback :D O and Sunbird, that nick makes you look fat ;)

Friend of mine used that, turns your poop green :sick:

Thats the least of the problem:
* Gives you erectile problems (So you'll have to drink another pill for that)
* Screws up your sex drive (Want to have sex, have to watch porn for that)

Crap being green? Who cares :P
