Malema charged over 'kill the boer'

And on average an American is most likely more stupid than an African.
That is a joke. Americans are not stupid - if they were they wouldn't be the No 1 economy and military force in the world.
I agree with You, it seems rather a case of an "Stupid" African making that assumption! LOL.

Cape Town - The national secretary of the Verkenners Beweging (scouts' movement) Ben Geldenhuys has challenged Julius Malema to "shoot me" instead of innocent farmers, and even named a place, date, and time for the event.

In a statement on Thursday, Geldenhuys said the Verkenners Beweging was "furious" about the ANC Youth League leader singing "shoot the boer".

Since the ANC came to power in 1994, more than 3 000 farmers, mainly the elderly and women, had been brutally murdered on their farms.

This could not simply be ascribed to crime, Geldenhuys said.

Malema's utterances were considered by the Verkenners Beweging as incitement to murder farmers and was totally unacceptable, Geldenhuys said.

"If Malema is so keen to shoot a boer, let him come shoot me instead of inciting other people to murder defenceless elderly farmers and women.

"To make it easy for him, I will wait for him at Fort Schanskop at 12 noon on March 19 2010," Geldenhuys said.

sad that people only react now and then in such a dumb emotional manner take legal and/ or economic actions against these fuskers anything else is pointless

Malema could not find his head with both hands*, let alone something spelled like "Schanskop".

* hint to Julius: Reach down behind you, cup your hands, and lift slowly - it is in that region.

negate cant see it so let him believe what he wants maybe he is mugabe trolling mybb

OMW, the trade restriction was put on MUgabe and 20+ businesses, The goverment held msot of ZIM assets. Even foreign assets in ZIM were froze from British to Canadian citizens. With no cash able to flow through the economy they were unable to trade. Most of their mining - steel sector were state owned as such sanctioned. Allot of their commercial banks state owned, sanctioned. Sanctions on the government echoed through every part of zim as most of zim belonged to the state already. Most of their Industry were owned by foreigners. A foreigner had his assets froze if it pertained to business in ZIM as such most left.

You are ignorant to think sanctions only focused on the movement of Mugabe. It focused everywhere where he and his cronies had a hand in something and in ZIM's case that was almost everywhere. The reasons stated by the sanction pushers were to prohibit him living in luxury.

Zim tried countless times to buy foreign currency with useless ZIM, this behavior caused traders to hammer their currency even more to prohibit them form attaining more foreign currency.

There was no total trade embargo against Zimbabwe. There are no sanctions against Zimbabwe. There are sanctions against Mugabe and his cronies, but however hard they may try to convince you otherwise, they are not Zimbabwe.

No sanctions on ZIM, please grow the fck up and stop believing everything the media fills your eyes with

All the USD had been stolen, or lost via the damaged Agricultural system. That's why they had no USD.

Exactly. But you don't seem to understand what you are saying yourself !!!

Mugabe and his cronies were / are stealing everything. After all, Grace has a long shopping list, and needs the scarce USD !

The same thing is starting to happen here. The misappropriation of tender funds by JM is just an example. And the prosecution authorities and SARS are already controlled by the ANC to the extent that they will not take action - just as neither of them took action against JZ.

What's different to Zimbabwe, 20 years ago ???

I wonder how long it will take before we have sanctions against selected ANC members by the European Union ?

No. Your country needs to produce something to obtain foreign exchange. At this moment, we're lucky. Gold, platinum, silver, etc are expensive. However, that will change, it always does - goes up and down. You can't build a consumerist society with just the mining sector.

Can Zim workers compete with Chinese or even Hungarian workers? No.
Can Zim develop new technology the way the Germans, English, Americans and Japanese are? No.
Zim at best is a mining and agriculture country. Zim can improve itself but it would have to become immensely more productive to compete with either the West (innovation, development of technology) or China (high quality, cheap manufacturing).

Every human can do what another human does, it all about coordination and satisfying needs. ZIM's people can do what any other countries people does, you wanna know why? because they are people not sum dummed downed version of person just beacuse they live in another country of no coordination and oppression, so please keep your ignorant views

I agree, what i dont agree with was that sanction were the right course of action as I said it worsened an already fctup situation. If it was up to me I would have killed Mugabe and forced a democratic change, hey look at IRAQ USA is in the habbit of doing that. They did it to a country that di dnot even need it, but a country like ZIM who actually needed it they did nothing, why? nothing to gain of course

I am not so sure abut that. In some countries the people can make clear, concise points without flaming the person they are debating with.

I would not mind that, as those sanction would serve the right cause. The people who organized ZIM sanctions did not think it over because they did not realize how far Mugabe had his hand in the Kitty. Selected ANC members dont have such a large kitty that influences allot of people like oom BOB. Sanctions are great if used correctly.

In the end most o****ries were not democratic and they learned from their mistakes, leave it to it's natural course and people will learn and maybe even apologize for their mistakes. In ZIM case we just prolonged their learning curve with these ridiculous sanctions. Because it know has to recover from sanctions that did even more damage the the initial drop in agricultural products

And you go and read your Noddy books and stay off public forums.

Mindless rhetoric and zero facts have no place in a serious discussion.

Of course, when we are discussing whether MonoChoice should have porn or not, that's another story :D

Mad Bob did the damage, not the sanctions.

And he was ably supported in his destruction of the Zim economy by TM and JZ. Even NM could have done more.

At least the Apartheid government can claim that they shut Smith down, in a matter of two weeks, when they felt that it was necessary.

The ANC just did nothing, nothing and nothing. All Comrades, hey, fsck the Zimbabwian people !!! That's where the blame lies, not sanctions.

Dare I say that I hope this happens? Malema doesn't have the balls, but someone else might hear about this, be there and shoot the guy. I think it's time this country has a bit of a tiff, lets it all out and then kisses and makes up.

It is the prerogative of countries to boycott others that do not comply with acceptable principles. Why would they continue the status quo' and give African idiots like Mugabe more incentive to carry on with his oppression and tirade. I say Fsuck Africa and it's inhabitants then if they are incapable to learn. Let them go back in history and starve when the seasons change. That's what they want and it is a natural birth control!

Nothing will happen, ANC to scared. Hopefully the rule of law will set him straight, his corruption with Tenders are clear

NPA and SARS afraid of ANC, nothing will happen as long as ANC supports Malema. And they haven't shown any signs of not supporting him.

A bit of a kiss of death for South Africa !!!

There should not have been sanctions - there should have been a bullet in Ugly Bob's face.
