Malema declares economic war

Can this be construed as an incitement to violence? For example by calling white people criminals, telling blacks they must take back what is theirs, and calling for an economic war on white people which will have casualties - might this not promote violence against white people by black people? If this is an incitement to violence against an ethnic group then Julius Malema is contravening international law.

the word 'Economic' is a chicken-5h1t approach he will use... If he just used the word 'War' then he will be in even more alleged kak (I use the word alleged as I think the hearings are a farce) - his followers dont even know what an Economic war is - so the statement will appease the educated which will be interpreted as 'Malema is after my money' and the stupid masses will interpret that as 'I take what I want; this is War'

Completely agree and would put money on it

Count me in too.

Of course, there's no way to really know this for sure but gut instinct when it comes to predicting the simplicity of African politics has yet to fail me and a lot of other people.

The sad thing is that if we think things are bad now, wait a few more years for the next generation after the current Malemanites of poor, hungry, uneducated slum dwellers to reach puberty. It's not like things are getting better concerning the economy and education, in fact, at this point this country is hemorrhaging any factors that even remotely resembles a positive outcome for the future... :(

just one question, does that mean we are allowed to start shooting back now, economically that is?

This comment in the article about sums it up for me..

Where does one buy weapons of mass economic destruction?

Oh that's simple - you employ a "token" and place him/her in a position of power where they can abuse their position through ignorance, corruption and nepotism.

That’s a massively serious WMD! Effective too.
