why else would someone go to the trouble of obtaining someone's matric results? of course it is someone with an agenda. you might argue it's a good or bad agenda. but it's an agenda nonetheless.

Yes it is someone with an agenda. But I don't see how its illegal. He can get away with death threats but when someone points out the fact that he is stupid and provides proof, there must be an investigation? lol Unbelievable
i would actually hope that obtaining my matric or varsity results without my permission is illegal. however i agree with your point.

Why? It is a public record.
School marks aren't everything. Chat to someone who's spoken with Zuma - apparently he's pretty smart, and a good coversationalist. Mbeki, on the other hand, I had described as being unable to even make small talk, despite all his degrees.

Is it? i seem to remember having to give a recruitment agency permission to verify what i stated were my matric and varsity results. oh well.

That only indicates what level of achievement you obtained. In other words, D for Distinction, M for merit (60-79%) and S for pass. The newspapers don't publish the individual results per subject.

Strangely Malema is in his 2nd yr at UNISA studying Political Science
So I'd like to know how he managed to get into University with those results? I don't know how 'real' this all is because the education department do not release results to the public, the same way Universities don't hand over results. I'm guessing fake.

, are your academic results not protected information?You even have to sign a document to give permision for people to verify your academic results in your CV.
that's a matter of convenience. and from what i remember the only specific results are those where someone has been interviewed. otherwise it shows you got a matric leavers or exemption. if you felt that strongly about it i am sure you get the education department not to print your results.

That's true, although it's an indication. While I don't necessarily like or approve of Zuma, he's been able to do a good job of impressing some very high level business leaders.

Wow, he got C in second language English HG. That's probably all he needed to pass!
Zuma does not have STD 8 because he didn't go to school. This is not the same as someone who had the chance but flunked.
The fact that he has risen so far (politically) makes him one of the highly intelligent people. (This is Zuma I'm talking about - NOT MALEMA)

Makes sense, and that's how I imagine it would be. I have no idea how they can release personal information in this way, at a Gov. dept. without someone being fired. Oh well.
