malformed address, message failure

One of our clients tried mailing a staff member, and got the following error message:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: FW: Trial balance - Biospear
Sent: 2011-11-15 14:39
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
'[email protected]' on 2011-11-15 14:39
501 <'[email protected]'>: malformed address: '> may not follow <'[email protected]

However she can email another staff member without any issues.
