Sophos have released their latest Security Threat Report and the results reveal that Apache is the most compromised server, China has overtaken the US as the country that hosts the most web threats and threats from the web are becoming more prolific.

I can't be bothered to fill out a form to get the report but;

I don't think this means that apache is to blame. I'd blame lax security and/or holes in webapps (ie XSS/CSRF) for most of these infections anyway.

Apache is probably also the most used web server. I'd like to see proportional stats ie avg infections per server type installation.

(could someone pls post the full report somewhere)

The same kind of arguments can be applied to all OS's, Web servers ....
