Another, of many, senseless murder.

I will take sidebets it was commited by 2 poor, no warm house or three square meals a day, good citizens just looking for a meal who are entitled to our pity because they were impovirished by the system.

Forget about the pregnant wife, two children, a deceased hard working man and the job losses for his employees.

Come on, gather around you humane people with the big hearts, lets pity the perpetrators. They deseve it.

Hope the useless basterds, waste of human skins, "savages" rot in hunger in hell:mad::mad::mad::mad:

The deceased was a friend of my brother. My condolences to his family and I hope and pray they could find some comfort in this time.

This could have been of my friends or family. My bro has had 6 breakins at his place within 3 months.

You hear of armed robberies at lodges and restaurants and how people are brutally assaulted for a few hundred Rand.

It's a shame that this is happening to honest people that do good in their communities and help those in need. It's a shame that this is happening across South Africa and people are left defenseless at the hands of a few.

RIP :( Good Luck :(

Even more shameful are those that try and justify/understand these savage acts and pity the perpetrators.

That's very rarely the case. But even if it were true it is still no excuse.

The root of murder is hatred.

Not that i condone this, but the guy apparently grabbed the attacker.

Define "grabbed". Was he going to bliksem him? take is gun? beg him for mercy? it sounded liek the original intent was not to break in and murder the guy, or they would have murdered his wife too.

not that i care, but it didn't sound premeditated, so don't come with "murder = hatred" **** please. i'm sick of genocide stories

Don't you think it's important to try understand these murders and why people behave this way? Surely it is only by understanding the reasons can we figure out how to prevent such violence in the future...

(Trying to understand or feeling pity for a murderer does NOT in any way mean I'm justifying murder or that I'm trying to make excuses for them.)

We are probably not going to understand many murders in SA because we are not prepared to openly talk about IT.

I'm hungry.. I have not eaten for 24 hours... think I'll go kill me some manager. I hate him because I'm hungry.

Hunger.

The poor ouk was hungry.

And what caused the hunger??

I think the following might explain it best :
42ne6

Where did it make any mention of the robbers being hungry? The poor victim paid the price of trying to be a hero.

I think anyone who takes a moment would realise that most hungry/poor people are not murderers (more likely is that you will find the kindest people among the poorest), so while I appreciate your sarcasm I just wonder if it isn't more worthwhile to actually try and genuinely discuss the reasons behind SA's high violence and murder rate rather than just getting pissed off and being sarcastic?
