No issues here. I'm glad he's dead. But you know how our laws are. He shot at them as they were escaping. Hell someone might even twist his words and say that the robbers returned fire after the one shot.

They shot first though, he returned fire. He can also argue that he feared for his life and that they may come back. They had already proved they were willing to use a gun to subdue him, maybe next time they shoot him.

It is funny how the laws are but most magistrates are pretty decent people, I don't think he will have an issue.

Why do you think he'll face punishment? (blanket "law protects criminals" rubbish doesn't apply when you have facts btw..)
