Hi guys, I finally have Bluetooth built into my car- which is awesome epically because I can now play music from my phone to the audio system via it..

Any tips please? Any apps that you would recommencement to use with car Bluetooth? Can one use Google Voice via BT & how? Anyone know what "car mode" is supposed to do? What about GPS Nav, can one have Nav prompts via it?

Would also like to know how you are managing Bluetooth power usage (turning it off and on).

Currently I setup Llama to turn BT on once I leave home/work - not ideal because I might want to make a call/receive while still at home/work.
I also set it to turn BT off when I get to home/work but with a prompt (so I dont get cut off). - Do you think an NFC tag would work better here?

Nav prompts lower the music volume during the instruction - all goes via the speakers.
I simply leave my BT on

My NAV will mute the right side speakers music automatically. If I dont want my NAV on, I must switch to NAV on the radio, and physically exit it... BT is permanently on... never switch it off.... As for volume levels, Each is independant.

EDIT: My Car radio has its own NAV system, I dont use my phone for Navigation...

EDIT2: Must mention, depending on the ROM I use on my phone, BT is hit & miss... sometimes working, othertimes I need to reconnect manually.

I used Poweramp on my phone. When using Google maps and it's navigation, the music would mute when the direction lady spoke.

However, I found the quality of the playback rather bad with BT. Been rolling with a flash drive for a long time now.
