Mandla Kuzwayo is a business consultant with extensive experience in business development in the information technology and telecommunications (ICT) space, where he has been active for over 28 years.
Highlights of his past achievements include participation in the creation of the first privately-owned mobile licence in South Africa and the turning around of a multi-million rand telecommunications business. He has worked on a number of 'firsts' - such as the Burroughs Automatic LAN Generator, Vericheque and MTN. He has consulted to several organisations in the ICT sectors, both in and outside South Africa .
Mandla has been intimately involved in the transformation of the telecommunications landscape in SA, as part of the leadership of the National Telecommunications Forum. He is the current chairman of the South African Electro-technical Export Council, a public-private initiative focussed on the global promotion of South Africa 's electro-technical products, processes and services. Mandla maintains a wide relationship network, inside and outside South Africa , and continues to manage several engagements on ICT and empowerment projects. Mandla holds several qualifications in IT and business management.
