Mango flights for R1 with new app

Mango is celebrating the launch of its new mobile app with R1 flights.

I tried on my windows 8.1 tablet, with the app from the windows store. The R1 sale is not on that, I assume it is only for Windows Phone 8.1 devices and perhaps Windows RT, but not normal windows 8.1 tablets with the windows store app.

Worked for me on Windows 10, and also on Windows Phone 8.1.
Buddy of mine downloaded on Windows Phone 8.1 this am and worked also.

Yep. They fixed the business rules this time around. Last time I managed to book a "R1 flight" up and a "R1 flight" down. Was awesome.

Yes, even with this R1 discount, it still doesn't beat the R700 I paid return to PE next week on Safair.

I booked my flight from ORT to Durban using the app. Just select the flight and you want and then check the amount due that is where the changes happen.

Return bookings only, of which only one sector can be R1. No combination of any other promotional fare, second sector will be on published fare.

And there's the catch. So it's actually really a 50% off special...
