Man's cockroach-in-the-ear agony down under

Stuff like this happened a few times on scout camps. Often when clearing ground for the tents we would disturb the nesting sites of beetles etc and at night we had one or two find a new hold in someone's ear. The worst case was when a smallish beatle got into this one kids ear and then it started to scream (the beetle that is). It was astonishingly loud and being right against the ear drum it was agonizing for the scout involved. Had to get to the hospital to have it removed by the doctors.

Yep, that's what I was talking about.
It's really agonizing.
