Manual for Mecer Wireless Acces Point.

Hi there, Guys.

My Mecer Wireless Acces Pint has somehow decide to reset itself. It was set up with security etc....... now everything has reset to default. The problem is that I cannot access this WAP now. Does ANYONE have a manual, I seem to have misplaced mine.

Don't have the manual but try connecting to it with DHCP, the gateway will be the access point IP, then access that and try a few default usernames/passwords, e.g. user: admin, pass: admin, etc.

I have my wireless access point connected to a ADSL router. The defaulat gateway is my ADSL router not my access point. I have run a IP scanner, and all I pick up is my server, 2 laptops and my ADSL....... funny, because my wireless access point is working fine, but now I have NO security on it........ NON SECURED NETWORK......

I've never used the Mecer WAP before but if you disconnect it from the ADSL router and reset it to default you might be able to access it as I said above and reconfigure it.

NOt working .......... gives me limited access on my network connection and if I run the IP scanner, it only picks up my Laptop...... Cheers

What model is it? I have a Mecer wireless AP @ work, maybe I can mail you the default IP or manual, when I get back and if the models are same.
