Mapping software

Dose anyone know what kind of software that is used buy other wisps that show there coverage areas, ie this software also takes the geography of the area into consideration??

There is free software available.
Radio Mobile is what I use to plan JAWUG Links. http://www.cplus.org/rmw/english1.html
Using SRTM Data, which is free too. (and radio mobile will download it for you)
