Murdered shortly after the massacre. What happened to the muti fool who instigated them to charge at the police?
Murdered shortly after the massacre.
One of multiple potential witnesses assassinated.Rabbit karma.
Hmmm. I'm sure I remember one or two. They even tried to apologise to the families but the families were going to pieces so much.
Will try and find one of the references in this thread.
Well police leadership from Phiyega to commanders were grilled so I wouldn't call them underrepresented.
The striking workers were armed with deadly weapons like kieries, pangas, knives, guns, spears, etc
They intimidated innocent people with violence.
They attacked police and security personnel
But they are the victims
???
Its quite simple actually ..... if its white on black violence ... play the race card
If its anything other than the above, play the victim card.
Zuma to institute inquiry into Phiyega's fitness to hold office

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma is to institute an inquiry into allegations of misconduct and/or whether national police commissioner General Riah Phiyega is fit to hold office.
In a statement by the Presidency on Friday, it said Zuma had written to Phiyega informing her of his intention.
"President Jacob Zuma has written to the National Police Commissioner, General Victoria Phiyega, informing her of his intention to institute an inquiry into the allegations of misconduct and/or lack of fitness for the office that she occupies and /or her ability to execute her duties efficiently with regard thereto, or any other conduct which may have a bearing on her position as Head of the Police Service, in terms of Section 9(1) to (2) read with Section 8(1) to(8) of the South African Police Act 68 of 1995, as amended(the ”Act”)," said the statement.
It went on to say that Zuma had also afforded Phiyega the opportunity to make written representations to him as to why she should not be suspended pending the outcome of the enquiry.
"The President received and considered the report of Judge Farlam pertaining to the Marikana Commission of Inquiry and has also received the comments of General Phiyega on the recommendations and findings contained therein."
The Farlam Commission recommended in its report, released on June 25, that Phiyega face an inquiry into her fitness to hold office.
JOHANNESBURG - The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says a pre-trial conference will take place in December to finalise criminal proceedings against Marikana miners who have now been charged.
Yesterday the miners were charged at the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrates Court for the deaths of ten people in the days leading up to the massacre in 2012.
Two police officers, two security guards and six miners were killed during the violent protest, days before police were called in and shot and killed 34 protesters.
The NPA says it waited for the Farlam Commission of Inquiry’s report to be released before charging the miners.
Nineteen miners have been charged and two have passed away, but the NPA has not been given their death certificates. They face charges of murder, attempted murder, malicious damage to property, as well as the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
The NPA’s Frank Lesenyego says a pretrial conference has been set for December.
JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) says it has launched a petition to be tabled before parliament requesting compensation for the Marikana victims.
Forty-four people were killed during a violent unprotected strike at the Lonmin Platinum Mine in 2012.
In September, the Presidency announced it would explore initiating a dispute resolution process to expedite the processing of all claims arising from the 2012 tragedy.
