Marital affairs at work

That sounds like it happened at SBSA (at least a similar experience when I worked there). In all my work history I found that the majority of sexual innuendos occurred at large (mainly financial) corporates. Still very surprising that not a single sexual harassment suit has ever been filed and it was perfectly acceptable.

investec, and especially their year end functions come to mind

my work place is dead... no females here worth looking at and the one that was hot they fired 2 years ago so been pretty boring here :(

Some scary stuff where I work. Don't ask me how I know.

How is your workplace like?

We don't rape the English language for one.

I have worked in a few small companies and its happens a lot less, with big corporates its something that happens because of the amount of people in the same pace.
Just takes one ****ed up person to start all that ****.

Same as mine, pretty much a sausage fest over here. Might be a blessing in disguise since there are fewer distractions.

We had a trainee attorney who thought he was gods gift to women. but I put him down several times and when he got suggestive once in the kitchen, brought out his trainee report and told him I would trash it unless he calmed down. That worked 100%. He even apologised.

If he was god's gift to women then why was he suggestive with you, a 60+ year old man?

Work at home. Office politics and huis moles are one and the same thing here.

The worste I've heard of was a receptionist at a company that a friend worked for.

That woman screwed 6 of the managers/supervisors. (large corp)

She was often "missing" from her desk..

Have worked at 4 banks, the last one a major american bank, it was like sodom and gomorrah.

Worse still it was happening with md as well. He "resigned" and joined a british bank in SA and was caught shagging his secretary in the car park with a cctv camera above.

Not at my work; people are to conservative here.

A friend of mine is the executive chef at a well-known hotel in the area. I went with him to their year-end function last year and he pointed the people out who were shagging each other - married/single, it didn't matter. There's toilets in the conference section of the hotel - only gets used when the venue is booked out; that is where it all goes down, or better put, where they go down on each other.

Another friend is working for a company owned by two brothers. The one brother is screwing the receptionist and is paying her under the table, besides her normal salary. So when said receptionist wanted to usurp his authority - he is the financial accountant there - he went to the brother who was screwing her and told him to keep his mistress in check. :D

The very first company that I worked at, the one director was having an affair with the new business manager - both of them married; the cleaner caught them shagging on his desk - this happened after hours as the cleaner went into his office to clean it. They wanted the cleaner disciplined

It happens anywhere you put people together for long periods of time. The only woman I was attracted to at the office left before I made a move. We're dating now though :)
