People commit suicide when their mental health is not in a good state.

IMO, everyone is capable of commiting suicide if their mental health deteriorates to a certain extent which is different for everyone.

Once the body is in the mortuary van, it's game over.
I wanna see and examine the statement/s of of eye witnesses. Camera footage would also be good, it took place outdoors so this should be made available for scrutiny.
 
I wonder what horrible thoughts went through his head at the last minute....

We will never know but the brain can do very irrational things when people are extremely stressed.

As I said before, IMO, everyone will commit suicide if they are stressed to an extent. The threshold and extent is just different for everyone.

According to a source, Jooste fatally shot himself not long after police walked into his Hermanus home to arrest him. Jooste is said to have walked out of his house, stood in front of a neighbour’s home on or close to the beach and shot himself there. Emergency services found him lying partially on the cliff path. It was not immediately clear where Jooste shot himself, or to whom the weapon belonged.

Bheki Cele has been training his whole life to stop crime on beaches and Jooste bested him....
