Marvel's Black Panther Movie

the soundtrack is amazing by the way, gave it a listen a few times yesterday

three South African tracks also on it
 
So I friend of mine, who was looking forward to it, apparently didn't enjoy it. Now I'm scared of wasting my money.

Even if the story is not that great, it's a Marvel movie.
So just sit back and enjoy the action and effects.
 
White parents are trying to make sure they are not culturally appropriating when they take their children to see Black Panther over the weekend, especially if those children want to dress up like the main character - superhero T'Challa, AKA the Black Panther.

I thought it was phenomenal. More than a simple superhero movie. It thoroughly explored the background story of most characters much more than other MCU movies while still including an extensive storyline. The humor was excellent, the graphics were out of this world and the acting was great! But what really got me was the whole Wakanda concept - it was pictured so perfectly; DON’T forget the music, it was beyond awesome! This is truly a game changer... I’ve never felt emotions like this in a superhero movie before.

Infinity War has got some serious standards to live up to.

I will most likely go see it again :love:
 
Just saw the movie and I loved it but my cinema experience was spoiled by racists who kept on commenting every time Killmonger started espousing his anti colonial rhetoric. I think this movie could open a few eyes if somebody had bothered to record my cinema audiences reaction. KZN for interests sake. Other than that, this has to be a contender for best independent story in the MCU. Letitia Wright was especially good and I will keep an eye out for her in the future. My partner did not know that Andy Serkis was British and was quite surprised when I told her he wasn't a native Afrikaans speaking white guy so kudos to him on an outstanding performance as well.
 
Great movie, great effects. And it had one of the most likeable villains in a long time instead of the usual "Me bad guy! Me EVOL!! RAWR!!!" You don't agree with the guy... but you can understand how he ended up like that.
