Marvel's Black Panther Movie

Awesome movie, would highly recommend it.

But if you are the type of person that prefers a quite movie theater, put off seeing it. This weekend crowds will go wild anytime anything/anyone South African is on screen.

That was really annoying.

I wonder if that mid credit scene was Hollywood taking a dig at Trump.
 
I also enjoyed it, lots of laugh out loud moments, excellent development and the visuals are stunning. Has a kind of james Bond feel to it, but also culturally rich. Lovely to see all of the various African tribal elements that they have incorporated. I don't know if it lives up to the Hype, but we knew that Hype was unavoidable. I have some friends calling this the best movie "they have ever seen" and the "best movie ever made". Reminds me of the gushing after Wonder Woman. It's a good Marvel Movie, but I dunno if it's the best.

Makes me very excited for Infinity War though.
 
Yeah it was good.

CGI rhinos were a bit too shoddy. At that point I was expecting the exiled tribe to show up with trained gorillas.
 
Did the 5pm show at IMAX Eastgate Sunday, I don't think there was a single empty seat.
Either the air-conditioning couldn't cope with a full cinema or they adjusted it for African temps. :D

Awesome movie. Makes me gonna miss Africa.
 
I enjoyed it. The art style was nice as were the outfits...but stuff like the CGI rhinos...really?

Wasn't particularly full...like 20% of capacity. Which is about double what it normally is.
 
I'm done watching a movie in 3D, I got a headache as a result of watching BP.

Anyways, BP was a cool movie. I wouldn't say it was spectacular but it was very good. My favorite movies in the MCU are Civil war and Homecoming for me.

What's up with people wearing traditional attire at cinemas? Do they realize that this was just a movie? With made up cultures and made up traditions for entertainment purposes?

It was a dress code replicated from the worldwide premiere of the movie. A couple of the international stars joined the SA cast for opening night locally as well, thought that was a nice touch
 
I wore my traditional clothes which is comprised of a thong and a tiny loincloth.
