Marvel's Black Panther Movie

Watch it a few days ago. Here is my take on the movie:

Friendly black guy must fight in water to become king without wife. He also needs to go talk to his dead family in a tree (Iron Man wasn't available to talk too) Friendly black guy catch angry white guy who killed his father. Angry black guy goes to save angry white guy, just so they can have a nice conversation and then angry black guy kills angry white guy becaue he never needed him in the first place. Angry black guy wants to kill friendly black guy, because friendly black guy is the son of dead king. Friendly black guy goes for a swim and survives. There is a friendly white guy with no purpose. Later they ride on rhino's.

I watched this about 2 weeks ago and I found it quite boring. Definitely falls in "good" category on the Marvel "Good to Great" scale.

Could be that my hype from watching Infinity War played a factor.

currently it goes:
-everything else...
-Thor
-Black Panther
-Incredible Hulk
-Thor The Dark World

Quite interesting how most here who watched it in cinemas enjoyed it compared to those who didn't like it waited for the home release or a decent copy.

Maybe cinema experience adds something. Much like happened with me and the last jedi I think it took me 4 takes to watch through to the end on the small screen. Black Panther had its flaws but it was one of the better Marvel films. Of the origin stories I think it is only behind Thor and Iron. Actually the only better films in MCU are the two above, winter soldier (2nd best), Infinity War (best of the lot).

I was also not blown away by Black Panther, Not sure if the hype had something to do with it, but I just found the story line very lacklustre and the acting was downright ghastly.

I was rooting for the bad dude in the movie.

Saying that though I am not the hugest superhero genre fan. I watch them but the only ones that get me wanting to go watch them is Iron Man and Deadpool. all the others I am happy to wait for it be released on DVD or on decent download stream sites.

Didn't even make it past the first 20 minutes. If I wanted to watch Isidingo I would have put on SABC.

The origin movies are by far the strongest ones, imo. Captain America is the only sequence that's remained strong throughout.

So if Wakanda has these fancy space ships, why haven't they visited any other planets yet?
And if the Avengers have those Quinjet flying ships then how did Bruce Banner fly one of those things across the Galaxy?
Do they have faster than light travel?

Watched it on HD now on home theatre. Laughable that they think Africa will one day be technologically advanced.
Annoying movie tbh, I switched it off after an hour.
