The PC release of BioWare's hit-RPG Mass Effect has been pushed back from May 6th to May 28th:

I have just confirmed with the development team that we are making a small change to the release date of Mass Effect for the PC. We had previously announced May 6, 2008 for North America. The new release date for North America is May 28, 2008 and June 6, 2008 in Europe.

The team here at BioWare, working closely with the good folks at Demiurge Studios, has decided that a few more weeks in the studio will ensure we deliver the quality that our fans deserve. The additional time will allow us to incorporate more play-testing feedback, add extra polish and tune the additional features so that Mass Effect is a natural and outstanding PC gaming experience.

BioWare and EA are dedicated to excellence. We’re confident that the extra time will be reflected in the final PC experience that we deliver to our fans.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to delivering a great game!

Good decision. It means they aren't just chasing the money like EA usually does. BioWare is making sure they deliver a good game which I prefer to a rushed job.

OR... they found some huge fscking bugs (which, in a game like this is VERY possible) and are doing their best last ditch effort to fix it.

Then they could have just released it and patched it latter like gears of war.;)

That's alright I can wait just as long it's not delayed for ever like Duke Nukem Foreveeeer.

Well since KOTOR is owned by Lucas Arts they would probably screw the pc gamer like they have done with the force unleashed so Mass Effect is fine with me.

A game's only late until it ships, but it sucks forever.

Hehe, read this quote in an article about Origin Systems yesterday, this was basically the company motto...

Go out and get yourself the two Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic titles to keep yourself busy. I've found alot of similiarities between the two games.

Ps. Ta, now I'm trying to convince the girlfriend to get off the TV so I can play.
