Mass USB charging

i dont think you wil easily find a 17A 5V PSU, isnt it the lower the V the lower A it can carry?

*but as far as i understand it as long as the V is the same you can add more A no problem, like say a unit has a 12V 1A PSU and you lose it, you could replace with a 12V 2A no problem

why not just use more hubs?

or dont they come with their own wall socket chargers that will in any case likely charge them faster than via usb? (sorry dont know the tablet)

They do come with their own chargers, but it will not be feasible to have 34 two point plugs lined up for charging, would take too much space :<

so you have 17 then, they should charge faster (you should be able to tell from the specifications)

i dont see the big deal of having 34 2 point plug points, it will really not take up much space at all if you are using like 1-6 multi plugs etc

:p You showing your lack of knowledge on the subject, stick to mafia!

You end up with the same problem

The tablets? They generally come with a basic single USB charger which outputs 500mA, sometimes 1A.

I also find USB cables to be more resilient than the power supplies. I've had many power supplies die on me, one of the tablets' power supply failed one day after used.

In fact, the 5V 4A power supply that came with the 36 port hub is now also dead. I have two dead power supplies and two useless 36 port hubs now ....

are you sure they arent like say an ipads one where it actually chargers the unit faster?

Which is why... some charge at up to 1A, which would be faster than 500mA, which would be faster than most PC USB ports that are limited to 100mA. See, you are lacking understanding!

so again where is the problem with my suggestion clown?

Rather get a bunch of smaller hubs, at least you can still charge if one breaks.

Um just an idea, Why not just use a few multiplugs and usb power supplies?
