Good Evening Internet Guru's
I was wondering if anyone could confirm some infrastructure problems anywhere else in the country this particular week.
I have been sitting with close to 550ms+ ping on international servers. My wow account has been going haywire as I am use to getting around 170ms. I'm currently with telkom uncapped and I actually (Funny enough) get decent ping from them. Now I looked at my "soft cap" from my uncapped account which the call centre confirmed that I am not throttled. Pingtest revealed basically no packet loss and 1ms jitter to JHB on telkom.
However both my axxess and afrihost account popped me 300ms+ to JHB from Cape Town. 300 LOCAL PING! :O (I am assuming this has to do with them sharing MtN.) With telkom coming in at 60ms, but my in game latency is still redonculous. Heroes of the storm is practically unplayable. I checked with the blizzard servers and they seem to be fine. had a crack at Zenimax as well with elder scrolls , also insane pings.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows what is going on, I am in Burgundy Estate in cape town, 4mb line with telkom as my Primary service Provider. Would just like to know if this is my problem , or if it's something out of my control
