Matrix 4 gets a release date

I wonder how diverse the actors will be and what genders they will have...

Maybe Neo can be an antivaxxer flat earther LGTVBBQ transqueer Chinese communist that is vegan. Now that is something I'd to watch.

Would any of it change the fact that The Matrix is one of the greatest films of all time? No? So does it matter?

Sounds like Lana is self indulging, and following the formula of 2/3, which doesn't bode well.
Meh, but also...I wasn't really expecting much from this anyway.

does anybody know (except Ster kinekor now), if Matrix will be releasing on IMAX anywhere in gauteng?!?!

SK Website does not seem to offer this as a booking option...... damn spidermen taking over our cinema :(

You do know this is a thread about the 4th movie? It's like saying fast and furious is amazing, sure the first few were... but look how they're scraping the bucket these days and butchering each new release which is the whole point.

That's weird, I see Ster Kinekor only has the new Matrix movie in 2D ... no 3D or IMAX options. Anyone know why that is?

For only R50/ticket with Discovery Vitality, I picked up a ticket for the first showing at my local cinema on 22 December.

Anyone worried about COVID doesn't really need to be: the bookable seatings are all spaced out by non-bookable seats inbetween. I'd say there's way less risk involved in going to the cinemas and sitting in a single place to watch a movie, compared to visiting Checkers or Dischem and walking past people and touching things over and again.

You realise how laughable the post I responded to is when the original Matrix film was already a transgender allegory? My sides!

I’m going to see the film no matter what the critics say, so I can decide for myself if it’s good. Free your mind.

I would like to know how their air conditioning works

No point social distancing if the air conditioning just recycles the air
I doubt they have HEPA filtering or fresh air mix

Walking quickly past people in shops etc vs spending over an hour in the same air are vastly different risks

Perhaps myBB could try contact SK to find out what HVAC systems they use

I'd hope COVID regulations prohibit recirculation in a space like that.

When you're in a shopping centre, you're walking quickly past the people, but not past the infected air and multiple touchpoints. I think we should just accept that COVID avoidance isn't possible, it's just too transmissible. A combination of immunity from a personal mix of exposure to previous strains, coupled with vaccination, is probably your best bet at survival. I fear for anyone who has kept themselves in such total isolation for the last two years that they have had zero exposure to COVID-19: should they be exposed to any of the increasingly stronger and meaner strains going around now for the very first time, things might not go so well.
