Matrix 4 gets a release date

Overall Resurrections is positively received, at this time the tomatometer has it at 70%, and IMDB,

the 1/10 gang doing what they are always doing, most whom I suspect didn't watch Resurrections. Removing the 1s would bump it into the 7s.

Attention deficit disorder maybe thanks to Twitter. Wish there was a way to remove the 1's and 10's from view.

Going to watch it on Sunday. Where you all have holiday I have things to wrap up, and Christmas is, sadly, in the way. I am also not in the best mood, been a bit sick since early December. When I watch it, I will give my take, but I have avoided spoilers, the exception being Emily's Vox article, though it touched on the concepts and not the movies per se.

I stopped watching half an hour in. The first Matrix movie does what good fantasy should which is it pulls you in so deep into it's world and story that you forget for a moment about the 'real world'. This movie the commentary and self-referential stuff was so meta and glaring that it felt most of the time like I was being pushed back into the 'real world'...like this movie didn't want me there. It was very distracting.

Stopped watching because I'm maybe just not in the right mood for this right now and I really feel like some scifi stuff so will try again some other time.

Clearly. What makes this a 7/10 (rotten tomatos)? I would really like to know how they got to that score. Finally, how would I weight in my opinion and faults against this. I would normally rate a really good movie 8 with good 7 and finally 6 for entertaining. Which matrix 4 wasn't so 5/10 seems fair as an expansion with a 4 as a movie when compared to the 1st as a movie (technical comparison)

I rate similar. With IMDB scores a 6.5 odd is usually borderline for me, which this is.

What we need to do though is give it time, there's going to be likers and new insights.
