Matrix i7 Gaming machine

I have a 965 on stock and it runs 38 on idle and up to 60 on really full swing.

When and where did you get that 965? Out of stock right now with CPT distributor.

www.sybaritic.co.za rift, takes 7 days but they can source stock or so they say.

Got my update today, should be ready wednesday afternoon.

You should also register with channeltech.co.za then download the pinnacle pricelist they got stock of it as well. Only found this out after placing my order.

MS-790GX-G65
This mobo is the business trying to find stock, insane price for awesome mobo, i could get even cheaper if their was stock.

I'd also rather recommend the 955. That way you can squeeze a 5850 into your budget.

I would go with the 965 for an extra 150 odd bucks, uses less power and overclocks well plus it has dx 11 LOL whatever that means.

Ah, ok. I was more talking about which distributor. I know there's a slight delay right now on getting them into stock, hence that 7 day wait. I think it might work out slightly longer than that.

Yip, signing up with them.

If it works out longer they better give my money back, you do not promise people shyte if you are unsure, i asked if that 7day was for sure or an eta and they said for sure. I will get my money back on the principle if they mess me around. I do not mind if someone says it could be a week possibly 2 but do not tell me for sure 7 days and then mess me around :D.

I am so excited about this cpu as well with the release of a beta game i have been waiting forever for, so i will be gutted if they mess around :(. Do not care if it is the 140w version either.

Need to find that mobo though, i got this cheapie which i will try but i want a lekka mobo with more than 2 sata ports :D

therift - got it from prophecy forums sorry, dunno where in cpt you can find one :(

http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?products_id=396392.1k Could replace that hdd with this http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?cPath=61_64&products_id=8137

This is just a basic idea of what you can get for 15 odd k :D, you will still need OS dvd writer but for 15k that is a good system. Much less if you a 3.5" sata drive as opposed to the ssd.

I think the warrior is a decent price for what you get - 8gb ddr3, 4890, 2494hs, 650w psu, 1tb hdd, Logitech 5:1 speakers, and the assurance of having it professionally built and warrantied in one place.

Well yeah..but it's good price for a pre-built system still. If you do it yourself you save money, that goes without saying.

Cool guys thanks for all the help so far

@ Killadoob look forward to ya post thanks man

It is there darren, i have just given you stuff from loads of different sites so you can go check it and compare.

Knowing what you are buying is always a good idea. Also get a quote from those guys on a full pc :D.
